Vin Diesel revealed to ComingSoon that he is directing a 20-minute prequel to the fourth Fast and the Furious movie. Diesel will also star in the prequel alongside Michelle Rodriguez and Sung Kang. No word on how this will connect, if at all, with the earlier films or where it will be released. Maybe it will be included on a DVD re-release of “the original trilogy”. Coming Soon is reporting that Vin Diesel has directed a 20 minute prequel story to the upcoming Fast and Furious , the fourth film in the Fast and the Furious franchise. In the short "film" Diesel will star along with Michelle Rodriguez reprising her role as Letty and Sung Kang returning as Han. Rodriguez returns along with Paul Walker in the fourth film hitting theaters June 5, 2009. CS assumes the prequel story will tie-in some of the events from the second and third movies. The folks over at ComingSoon.net learned Tuesday that Vin Diesel is directing a 20-minute prequel to his upcoming action flick "Fast and Furious." Trust me, I was surprised too when I first read it. Although not much is known about the short, Diesel he would star alongside Michelle Rodriguez and Sung Kang. It looks like Vin is going to direct a short prequel for the Fast And The Furious franchise. We get wind of this from our friends at comingsoon:
Vin Diesel, who stars in next Friday’s Babylon A.D., told ComingSoon.net today that he is directing a 20-minute prequel to Fast and Furious, the fourth installment in the Universal Pictures franchise.

Vin Diesel is in New York doing press for the pretty cool looking Babylon A.D. and he shared an interesting bit of news with ComingSoon.net regarding another upcoming project. He announced he’ll be directing a twenty minute prequel to next year’s Fast and Furious, which itself is the third sequel to The Fast and the Furious. Technically, the twenty minute short will also be a sequel to the 2001 original, so I’ve decided to refer to it henceforth as a sprequel.

We’ve got word from ComingSoon.net that Vin Diesel will be directing a 20 minute prequel to Fast and Furious, the fourth film in the semi-popular franchise series.
Diesel spilled the news during an interview that he would star in the prequel along with Michelle Rodriguez who would be reprising her role as Letty from the first film.
