DreamWorks/Paramount's R-rated comedy "Tropic Thunder" rolled into the
marketplace as forecast this weekend, with a chart-topping $26
million in estimated first-frame grosses and $37 million since its Wednesday bow.
Providing moviegoers with the latest comedy film from
funny man Ben Stiller, 'Tropic Thunder' pushed out 'Dark
Knight' from its crowned box office position claiming the top slot this weekend.
The late star helped propel "The Dark Knight"
to the top of the boxoffice. His final film,
"The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus," may not fare as well.
